Tracking a wounded Deer:

If you need to track a wounded deer outside of a DHA, you will need to contact the Duluth Police Department BEFORE you leave the DHA. 

Contact them at 730-5400 to reach the front desk. 

All you need to do is tell them you have a wounded deer, the approximate location of the deer, and that you will be leaving a DHA in order to locate it.  This is a new requirement in 2009.  You will NOT be allowed to track a deer outside of your DHA without first calling the Police.  Failure to do so will result in your removal from the hunt.
