Google Earth DHA Layer

For those tech-savvy individuals out there, one of our hunters and map-gurus (Eric M.) graciously lent us his services and created this layer for Google Earth:

Google Earth DHA Layer

Download and save this file to your hard drive. Please pay attention as to where you save it, because you can't call Bork and ask him where it is (this has happened, and he doesn't know!). Then either open or install Google Earth.  At the top, click FILE --> OPEN --> and then browse to the downloaded DHA maps. Open it, and viola! You have all of the DHAs displayed in Google Earth.  Use this for aerial scouting. You can place pins for your stand sites as well as other stands in your DHA, thus locating secret "honey holes" where no one else is hunting. Have fun with it, and again, a hearty thanks to Eric M.!!

Use your mouse and click on a DHA. The DHA number will show up.

Please note that while Eric and the ABA try very hard to maintain accuracy in our maps, they may or may not be 100% perfect. Hunters are solely responsible for knowing EXACTLY where they are in the woods, and whether they are on public or private lands.
